San Mig Super Coffee Mixers striked again on Rain Or Shine 77-76 taking the lead 2-1 in the current PLDT myDSL PBA Philippine Cup Finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on a Wednesday night. The Mixers posted a back-to-back win on the Elasto Painters to changed the tide of the series on their favor after a heartbreaking defeat in Game 1.
They stayed strong at the crunchtime that featured an anybody's ballgame of 18 lead changes and a single point margin at the end of each quarter. Rain Or Shine leads by 1 point for all three quarters but it was San Mig taking the last thus escaping with a thin 1-point margin victory. It was a hard earned Mixers' win, but not until in the last possession of Rain Or Shine with 10 seconds left that Jeff Chan missed a three-point shot that could have been the game winning shot for ROS.
